Our traffic education wing delivers lectures in schools, colleges and other government / private institutions about road safety on regular basis. Education Wing has many options and plans to educate the masses.
The Education Wing of City Traffic Police Rawalpindi established in august 2008 is working under direct command of the Chief Traffic Officer, Rawalpindi. Traffic Education Unit is working handsomely with its well- trained and highly qualified staff for the sake of educating the people of Rawalpindi. Traffic Education Wing arranges walks, seminars, radio programs and general lectures. Lectures on road safety, traffic road signs and MVO are delivered to inculcate Traffic Sense. These steps will pave the way for better Police public relations and it will be a right step towards modern ideas of community Policing.

CTP Driving Training Institute

The driving training consists of two Modules:

1. 10 Days Theory.
2. 18 Days Practical Training.

Theory covers the following subjects:

1. Road Signs
2. Traffic Laws
3. Driving Safety
4. Automobile Important Parts
5. First Aid
6. Lecture by Civil Defense Officers on Bomb Disposal and Fire
7. Ticketing System

Practical Training:

Practical Training consists of 1 hour daily for each student.

There are two branches in Rawalpindi

1. Driving training institute Race Course Traffic Office Rawalpindi.
2. Driving training institute Faizabad Rawalpindi.

Training Fee

Complete training in 2500 Rs.

Note: Other private driving institutes are offering training at the price of 4500 Rs and no theoretical training is imparted on the student.

Facility and equipments

Senior Traffic Warden Mirza Yousaf Raza is the in-charge of the CTP Driving Training Institute. The Officers of Civil Defense deliver the lectures to the students and highly trained drivers give the practical training to the students.

Modern teaching devices like multimedia etc. are used to impart the training.
